I couldn't find a place to leave a review, so here goes. I just received my Hawk in antique white, which I bought as a mod platform. However, after this gorgeous guitar showed up, I don't think I could change it much. The finish is flawless, the color is beautiful, and it even arrived nearly in-tune (slightly flat across all 6 strings) and with a quite acceptable setup. I will lube the nut, maybe swap the string trees for graphite, polish the frets (they look pretty good already, but a little polish won't hurt), and sever-so-slightly drop the action. Otherwise, this guitar is perfect, cosmetically.
I will be playing with pickup height, as the bridge P-90 does seem a little weak compared to the neck, but they both sound really good as-is.
This is my 3rd guitar from Rondo, and each one has been a great value. This SX is of a quality which easily matches my PRS SE, and clearly surpasses the quality of Gibson's and Fender's entry-level guitars. I spent several months feeling every inexpensive guitar I could find for one which "felt right", but I should have just ordered from Rondo from the start!
