I recently purchased the last Hadean EG 628 CGR fretless in stock at the time. Took it to my favorite local luthier for set up and a few simple mods. When picking up the instrument all the guys at the counter we very jealous of the guitar. They even liked the lime-ish green color. The action is low and extremely playable. My plan is to experiment playing it like a middle eastern Oud. For such a low cost item the value is very, very high. Hadean EG-628 CGR Fretless Guitar If, like me, you have always wanted to try a fretless guitar then you have three choices : Spend thousands of dollars on a custom guitar, remove the frets from an existing guitar and try to patch-up the gaps or (best option) purchase the Hadean EG-628 fretless guitar. Mine arrived double boxed and well packed. Following 24 hours for acclimation (always recommended during the extremes of winter and summer) the reveal was a pleasant surprise. The guitar is well finished and playable out of the box. The action is so low ! Minor tweaks to tuning and I was away exploring this new world. I don`t know if I will ever truly master the finger board but at least I now have the opportunity to try. This is the great feature of Rondo guitars - availability of guitars at a reasonable price that would be difficult to source anywhere else. I also have a phenomenal 10 string Agile guitar- just try and find an example of either the fretless or 10 string at the usual e-stores.
