The case arrived today. I'm very pleased with the case! I actually ordered it for the Strat, but I use my Tele more often and the new case is easier to carry around so I switched the cases. I have my Galen-Michaels "Nashville" Tele in it. Michael Hatcher built this wonderful guitar for me in 1994. Nitro-cellulose finsh, Van Zant custom order hand wound pickups (middle pu is reverse wound so the guitar has both Tele and Strat sounds). Billy Gibbons has one of the approximate 200 instruments Hatcher hand built.
This case is perfect for my Stratocaster - It is a very snug fit, which is what you want so your Strat doesn't move around in the case. ... . I love the size of the case, it is compact, yet there is room for picks, a strap & other small items in the storage compartment... All-in-all this is a very good case for a Stratocaster (I didn't try my Telecaster in it, but I imagine it would fit nicely as well.) It is light, compact, and perfect for my needs.

Answer: Measure your guitar and then compare your measurements with those listed under "Specifications".
Question: Does this case have a lock?
Answer: Yes indeed! All Douglas cases feature a key lock.
Question: If I order a guitar with this case, will the guitar get shipped in the case?
Answer: Of course! But you must order the case and the guitar in the same transaction. If you order the guitar one day and then the case the next day, the guitar may have already shipped. One advantage of ordering both at the same time is that we will confirm that the guitar definitely fits in your case.
