To determine the size rack case you need, use these measurements: The distance from the front rail to the rear rail is 16 ½”. Each cover is also about 2” deep, so if your equipment is 18 ½” deep it will fit with the covers closed. Inside, the rack height is measured in "spaces". Each space is a standard 1.75" high. For example, to find the height of a 6-space rack, multiply 6 times 1.75” which equals 10 1/2". To find the height of an 8 space rack multiply 8 times 1.75” which equals 18", etc.
