Last Thursday week I received the SX sjb-62 4+1 (5 string) fretless jazz bass. I was so impressed, with this big bottom monster bang for the buck that on Friday morning and ordered the SX SJB QMD 5 string with the pearl inlays in the next. The fretless was singing before I even had the chance to add chorus/flanger or even reverb. I’m still blown away by the quality of this machine, the craftsmanship is competitive with instrument$ that command 5x the price. What a collection for the price. The complaints from me = 0.
I’ve read the complaints and I think consumers fail to realize that the larger manufacturers actually sell blemished models that still cost far more that the 2 perfect instruments I received. The major producers also have defective inventory, it’s simply a part of the manufacturing industry—quality control. The question is, “…how do they address consumer concerns?” Just a warning to those that haven’t ordered: DON’T LET THE PRICE FOOL YOU!!!! I consider it a treat to buy quality at a serious discount, especially as my daughter start college this fall.
